Ellen White’s View on the King of the North

Many are the controversies within the Seventh-day Adventist movement. One such controversy that boggles my mind that it’s even a controversy, is the identity of the King of the North of Daniel 11, specifically the latter half of the chapter. Was Uriah Smith right? Or is the King of the North really still the papacy?
