Deception Is Loud—Truth Is Clear
In an age of spiritual noise and religious spectacle, it’s easy to assume that power equals truth. If someone performs miracles, speaks boldly in Jesus’ name, or claims to have visions—surely that’s the Holy Spirit at work… right?
Not always.
The Bible warns us that in the last days, miracles will be used to deceive:
“He doeth great wonders… and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles.”
— Revelation 13:13-14
And in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11, Paul shows us that Satan will operate with “all power and signs and lying wonders.”
It will look spiritual.
It will feel religious.
But it will BE deadly. Very deadly.
So how do we test what’s true?
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
